What happens
Joan Gregory and Jerry Shows walk through Hollywood, where Joan, newly arrived from the strange island of Eucidia, comments on the traffic, the lunch and the customs of the city. Joan keeps offering corrections, which annoys Jerry. Their talk turns to news that two strange submarines have been found in the harbor. A blind man stops them to ask about the paper, and Joan recognizes him as someone from Eucidia.
