What happens

Captain Bradford, Mrs. Gregory, Jerry and Joan are aboard a stolen Euclidean submarine as it nears the channel off Los Angeles Harbor in the late afternoon. Pursued by a second Euclidean submarine held back by a magnetic beam, Captain Bradford struggles to raise Johnson, their contact at their home radio station, who has gone silent since an interruption by the Euclidean electrician Thales. The group debates whether to risk a direct call and how Johnson could reach them without being intercepted. A plane overhead raises the threat of magnetic bombs, and the crew finally sends Johnson a coded message through repeated attempts on different wavelengths. The episode ends with the submarine under threat of a musical note from Euclidea.

Characters: Captain Bradford, Mrs. Gregory, Jerry, Joan, Johnson, Thales, Tex, Pat

Listen for: Captain Bradford's coded radio message to Johnson, and the plan to meet at the halfway point on the old training course

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
