What happens
Joan Gregory, a 15-year-old girl raised on the artificial island of Euclidean, pilots a stolen submarine away from the island with Jerry Hall, Mrs. Gregory and Captain Bradford aboard. Their speedy escape carries them far across the South Pacific, and the crew is anxious about whether they are truly free. Joan explains how the submarine is provisioned and fueled, including the small food tablets they swallow and the way the craft makes its own water from the sea. The group then hears a tuning signal that Joan identifies as a location beam from Euclidean. She warns that every receiver on the island will register it, and the crew must keep their own receiver silent to avoid being found. Their situation grows tense as the search begins. This is the Magic Island series.
A stolen Euclidean submarine racing through the South Pacific Ocean toward the United States, eight fathoms below the surface.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
