What happens
Jerry Gregory, Joan, Captain Redford and Mrs. Gregory have escaped the island of Euclidea by seizing an unguarded submarine. Joan explains that its power comes from small fuel capsules and that it can travel far enough to reach California. Tex, a navigator, asks how the vessel is steered, and Joan shows them a chart and a reflector screen that lets them see ahead through the water. The group discusses the danger of arriving with an armed Euclidean vessel and whether to keep their return secret. Joan proposes sinking the submarine near the harbor and swimming the last five miles with special equipment. The series is Magic Island, and this story continues the escape.
