What happens
In the inner prison cells of the Magic Island of Euclidea, Captain Tex Bradford is knocked unconscious by a ray gun when he steps into the steel corridor to answer a knock at the door. Mrs. Gregory, Jerry and Joan stand over him and try to work out how he was struck and covered in magnetic paint without anyone opening the door. They conclude that the island's automatic guards are at work and that the Euclidians may have left the island entirely. Mrs. Gregory opens the door, and the group decides to investigate the passageways while the captain rests in his cell.
