What happens
Jerry and Joan, captives on the Magic Island in the South Seas, must act before eight o'clock, when Mrs. Gregory and Captain Bradford plan to escape in Johnson's boat. Their task is to take the radio and power chambers. Descending through the island's levels in an elevator, they reach the laboratory, where the Euclidean scientists lie asleep from a gas accident, and they examine a scale model of the island to plan their route. Joan explains that the power rooms are sealed and must be left running, so the pair focus instead on the radio room and the electrical dispatch room beneath it. They also find protective paint that will guard them against the guards' ray guns, and the episode ends with them preparing to confront those guards.
