What happens
Captain Tex Bradford, Mrs. Gregory, Jerry Hall and Joan Gregory are prisoners on the yacht held by a magnetic force near the strange island of Euchlydia. While the island's scientists sleep, Jerry and Joan propose slipping onto the island to switch off its electrical power so the party can sail away after dark. Joan explains that she has taken two ray guns from the commander, and Tex sends a coded radio message to Johnson. Mrs. Gregory and Captain Bradford weigh the danger against the chance of escape, while the young pair argue for their plan.
