What happens
On the magic island of the South Seas, the Euclidians, a group of scientists, hold Mrs. Gregory, her daughter Joan, Jerry Hall and the crew of the captive Gregory yacht. Captain Bradford has swum out through the magnetic fog ring surrounding the island to release a homing pigeon. As a storm breaks, Mrs. Gregory and Joan wait anxiously in the radio cabin, worried about the captain's absence. Joan explains how the rain dilutes the gas, and the group realizes the island is being prepared to submerge with the yacht still moored inside it. Mrs. Gregory wants to go after the captain, but Jerry insists on following orders.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
