What happens

Captain Bradford, Patricia Gregory, Jerry Hall and Joan Gregory tour the strange metal-surfaced Isle of Euclidea, where Mrs. Gregory's daughter Joan has been raised by scientists under G-47. Joan explains the island's layout, its hidden coral foundations, its underground levels and its submarines. She shows the group how palm gardens are grown in seconds and hidden from passing ships. The visitors learn that the island's prisoners and colonists are kept under strict control, and that the machinery in the cloth mill is kept loud for a reason. Bradford, Jerry and Tex discuss whether they might escape, and the episode ends with the machinery suddenly stopping.

The Isle of Euclidea, a fortified island in the South Pacific Ocean

Characters: Patricia Gregory, Captain Bradford, Jerry Hall, Joan Gregory, G-47

Listen for: Joan's explanations of the island's construction, its palm gardens and its submarines, and the sudden silence in the cloth mill at the end

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
