What happens
Peter Kirk, a wealthy sportsman, is injured in a skiing fall and is treated by Dr. Helen Hunt, a young general practitioner from Los Angeles. Her refusal to hand his care to specialists, despite his attorney Mr. Barrows' objections, draws Kirk to her. He pursues her, and after a whirlwind courtship they marry. The newlyweds settle into his large house, but Helen's medical work keeps pulling her away, leaving Peter to wonder how their marriage will fit together. This is the Lux Radio Theatre production of You Belong to Me, broadcast on June 15, 1942, starring Merle Oberon and George Brent.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
