What happens
Captain Kerry Bradford, a Union intelligence officer, learns that Confederate sympathizers in Virginia City, Nevada, plan to ship several million dollars in gold to the South. Julia Hain, an old acquaintance who has returned from the North, is involved in the scheme and works at the Sazerac Saloon. Bradford follows her west, and their dealings are complicated by his suspicion of her and by the presence of Captain Erby, a former prison keeper and enemy of Bradford. This Lux Radio Theatre broadcast stars Errol Flynn and Martha Scott, with Flynn repeating his role from the Warner Brothers film. The transcript ends partway through a fight in the saloon.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
