What happens
Harry Morgan, a fishing boat captain in Vichy-ruled Martinique in 1940, is hired by the French underground after a dispute with a client, Mr. Johnson, over an unpaid bill. The episode is a Lux Radio Theatre adaptation of the Warner Brothers screenplay To Have and Have Not, starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, broadcast on October 14, 1946. Harry's ill-fated dealings bring him into contact with Marie Browning, a young American woman who has come to the island. Johnson is shot dead in the hotel, and Harry and Marie are questioned by the police. Their growing attraction develops as the underground pressures Harry to take on a dangerous job.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
