What happens
In wartime Lisbon, Ken Harper, a foreign correspondent, meets Sidney Royce, a reporter sent from New York who may be carrying secret weapon plans drawn in invisible ink on her back. Ken is pressed by the Allied agents to recover the plans, while German and British agents circle Sidney. This episode of the Lux Radio Theatre is a 1943 adaptation starring William Powell and Rita Hayworth, first broadcast on April 26, 1943. The story is still in progress in this part, as Ken and Sidney share dinner and a drink is prepared for her.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
