What happens
Lewis Dodd, a difficult composer, returns to the Sanger family's Swiss chalet after the death of Albert Sanger, the household's brilliant but failing patriarch. Tessa, the youngest of the four Sanger daughters, is in love with Lewis and confides her feelings to Roberto, the handyman. When Lewis arrives, the household is thrown into excitement. The episode is the first act of the Lux Radio Theatre production of The Constant Nymph, first broadcast on January 10, 1944. Charles Boyer, Moreno Sullivan and Alexis Smith star.
A chalet in the Swiss mountains above the city of Durich, and later Creighton Hall in London.

Listen for: Tessa's declaration of love for Lewis and the arrival of Charles Creighton and his daughter Florence at the chalet.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
