Randy's guardian-partner Willows is set against it. Gloria, hoping to win his approval, takes a job as a switchboard operator at Willows' brokerage under the name Catherine Long. The Lux Radio Theatre production of She Knew All the Answers, a comedy, was broadcast on 1943-01-11 and stars Joan Bennett and Preston Foster, with Eve Arden. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
