What happens

Peter Pan visits the Darling children's nursery in London, where he has come to recover his lost shadow, and Wendy sews it back onto him. Peter then flies Wendy, John and Michael to Never Neverland, the island where the lost boys live and where Captain Hook plots against them. The transcript covers the early part of this 1953 Lux Radio Theatre adaptation of James M. Barrie's play, broadcast on December 21, 1953, with Bobby Driscoll as Peter, Katherine Bohmont as Wendy and John Carradine as Captain Hook. Hook and his crew pursue the children across the island as the adventure unfolds.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
