What happens
Sergeant Brett and Dusty Rivers, a Texas Ranger, ride into the Canadian northwest, where the Metis under Louis Riel have rebelled against the government. Rivers has come to arrest Jacques Corbault, a fugitive wanted for murder in Texas, and Brett's sergeant duties keep him tied to the mounted police post. Tensions rise as Corbault seeks allies among the Cree and the rebels, and as Ronnie Logan's conduct comes under suspicion. Rivers and April Logan, Ronnie's sister, are drawn into the unrest. The broadcast is a dramatized adaptation on the Lux Radio Theatre series, aired April 13, 1942.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
