What happens
Johnny Mason, a young lawyer at the firm of Doolittle, Mizz, Smith, Doolittle and Hutch, marries Jane on impulse after a chance meeting in Boston and plans a honeymoon in Bermuda. His employer, Judge Doolittle, refuses to give him more than ten days off, and Johnny's plans begin to unravel. Johnny's mother is shocked by the sudden marriage, and the young couple's wish to live independently is tested as they move through early married life. This is the Lux Radio Theatre production of Made for Each Other, broadcast on February 19, 1940, starring Carole Lombard and Fred MacMurray.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
