Maine and New Mexico, the 1940s; a ranch in New Mexico and a remote lodge on a lake in the Maine mountains

Listen for: Ellen's shifting remarks about Danny and her growing possessiveness toward George, and the arrival of Ruth and Mrs. Barrett at the lake

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
