What happens
Eric Stanton, a drifter, arrives in the small California coastal town of Walton and meets June Mills, a shy woman who lives with her sister Clara. Eric teams up with the fake spiritualist Professor Madley, and after a seance for the Mills sisters, June learns that her late father left a substantial inheritance. Eric also courts Stella, a waitress at Pop's lunchroom, and the two grow close. Lux Radio Theatre presents Fallen Angel, with Linda Darnell, Marta Harrah and Mark Stevens, and the broadcast is dated June 17, 1946.
