Lisa's brother Johnny arrives to press the family's concerns, and Gerald's attention drifts toward Flora Preston. This adaptation of Intermezzo is presented on the Lux Radio Theatre with Grace Moore and Basil Rathbone in the lead roles.

Europe and Boston, Massachusetts; an opera house in London, a villa, a steamship, and an apartment in Boston.

Characters: Gerald Fitzgerald, Lisa Dela Robbia, Johnny, Flora Preston, Farnham, Maria, Toto

Listen for: The growing tension between Gerald and Lisa as her touring career pulls them apart, and the arrival of Flora Preston.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
