Stretch is headed for Galveston on a boat, and Mary goes after him to explain herself. The Lux Radio Theatre broadcast stars Gene Autry as Stretch and Merle Oberon as Mary. The episode aired on January 20, 1941.

Characters: Mary Smith, Stretch Willoughby, Uncle Hannibal, Horace Smith, Katie, Ellie

Listen for: Mary's attempt to explain herself to Stretch as he leaves on the Galveston boat.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
