What happens

Luigi Basco plans a day at the beach with his night-school classmates, after Pascale and Schultz urge him to bring a date. He has his eye on Shirley Smith, and Pascale lends him a French bathing suit that turns out to be far too big. Luigi writes to his mama in Italy about the trip, and Life with Luigi, a comedy series, presents the episode. The story follows Luigi's efforts to impress Shirley and the awkward trouble his new swimsuit causes at the crowded shore.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
