What happens

Luigi Basko, a newly arrived Italian immigrant, finds himself at odds with his overbearing friend Pasquale, who has been pestering him over Rosa. Luigi's schoolteacher, Miss Balding, advises him to stand up to Pasquale, and Luigi tries the approach, telling Pasquale to stop or he will leave. Pasquale responds by ordering Luigi out of their shared home. Luigi then sets out to find work, first through an employment agency and then at a Jones hash house, where his restaurant mix-ups soon cause trouble. The episode is part of the comedy series Life with Luigi, which was first broadcast on June 13, 1950, starring J. Carrol Naish with Alan Reed.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
