What happens

Luigi Basko, a recent immigrant from Italy, is working on a new life in Chicago during a hot summer. His night school teacher, Miss Spalding, suggests holding class on the beach, and Luigi's classmates, including Mr. Olsen and Mr. Scholz, join in. Luigi hopes to meet a girl there and borrows a bathing suit from his friend Pascuali, which turns out to be an awkward fit. The episode follows Luigi's comic attempts to make a good impression on the beach. Life with Luigi is a comedy series created by Cy Howard and starring J. Carroll Naish, with Alan Reed as Pasquale.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
