What happens
Chester A. Riley spends his entire week's pay on a hamburger stand, planning to get rich and quit his job at the plant. His wife Peg is skeptical, and his son Junior soon becomes his partner in the venture. Riley's first days bring small successes and failures, including a prank on Cub Scouts. Over time, father and son begin competing against each other with price cuts and rival signs across the street. The Life of Riley, a radio comedy series, aired on April 28, 1950, starring William Bendix as Riley.

Listen for: Riley's escalating price war with Junior and the sign changes that follow.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
