What happens
Chester A. Riley learns from a newspaper that a nurse at the Kannasi maternity home switched several newborns' name tags on the day he was born, and he may not be who he thought. Fearing he belongs to the notorious Jukes family, he begins to doubt his own identity and worries about his wife and son. The Life of Riley is a radio comedy from 1947, first aired on February 1 on the Blue Network and ABC, and the cast includes William Bendix as Riley and Paula Winslowe as Mrs. Riley. Riley's unease grows as he reads about the Jukes family and thinks about the local news. Neighbors, friends, and his family all become part of the confusion.

Listen for: Riley's growing alarm as he reads the newspaper report and the strange behavior that follows.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
