What happens

Jerry of the Circus follows the performers of a traveling circus. Speed, a new and fast runner who has just won a race against the horse Lady, is hired by circus owner Sam Randall. Speed proposes comedy routines and is soon discovered to be a gifted ventriloquist and mimic, able to imitate Rags the dog. Jerry, a young boy, takes an interest in Speed's act. Meanwhile Patsy declines to invest in Boris's South American scheme after Randall advises her against it, and Boris and Olga resolve to get revenge on Randall, plotting around his upcoming loan payment. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
