What happens
Patsy offers Sam Randall twenty thousand dollars to help him meet a note due the next day on a twenty-five thousand dollar loan, but Randall resists taking her money. After some persuasion Patsy talks him into accepting it on a ninety-day term without interest. Afterward Jim Bum learns of a rival offer from Boris Russell and tells Randall he has arranged the loan elsewhere, while Jerry receives a telegram from a railroad company asking to buy his Montana property. Jerry's uncle Dan Duggan has an expedition order and wants to talk with Randall about Jerry. The story is set around the circus lot and office wagon.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
