What happens

Jerry Dugan and his friend Patsy open a package sent to Jerry from a safety deposit box his late father left him. Inside are his father's military medal, a photograph of his mother, a deed to forty-two acres of land in Montana, and a map for a dude ranch his father had planned to build there. Mr. Grayson's letter explains the contents and waives his fee. Patsy then reveals she plans to leave the circus for South America, where she has been offered a share in a touring show for twenty thousand dollars. Mr. Randall, the circus owner, questions the deal and advises her to put her money into an annuity instead. Jerry, meanwhile, avoids discussing his own schooling plans for the winter.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
