What happens

Jerry of the Circus follows young Jerry as he takes an interest in a fast runner named Speed. Jerry learns that his Uncle Dan has received an order for apes, zebras and lions, which may let him raise money for a new African expedition. Jerry then brings Speed to Mr. Randall, the circus owner, after Speed helped recover a runaway horse named Rex. Mr. Randall doubts that running can make a good circus act, so he tests Speed in a race against the horse Lady. Meanwhile, Boris Rousseau speaks with Patsy about investing in a South American circus tour.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
