What happens

Jerry and his uncle Dan Dugan, a circus animal collector, talk about his plan to lead a big game expedition to Africa, which needs months of preparation and thousands of dollars. Dan learns from Bumps that Patsy has come into a large inheritance. Jason seems troubled by the news, and Jerry guesses that he fears being thought a fortune hunter. Dan also takes on Mr. Randall's request to find savings around the circus, and he begins working on a problem with free passes that leave cash customers without seats.

A travelling circus on its tour, in the lot and grounds around the circus wagons and tents.

Characters: Jerry, Dan Dugan, Bumps, Jason, Patsy, Jim Bennett, Jack Hastings, Mr. Randall

Listen for: Jerry's ideas about the expedition, news of Patsy's inheritance, and Dan's task of cutting costs and fixing the trouble with free passes.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
