What happens

Jerry Dugan and Patsy Hadley of the circus are troubled because their friend Spike, arrested for passing counterfeit money, has been taken away, and Jerry is convinced Spike is innocent. At the station restaurant, Jerry and Patsy notice Belko, the circus performer, talking with a stranger. Jerry recognizes the man from a prison photograph Spike once showed him and suspects a link between him and Belko. Jerry sets out to tell Mr. Randall what he has noticed, hoping he is not too late.

A circus train station and its restaurant, late in the season, while the circus is preparing to leave town.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
