What happens

Jerry of the Circus follows young Jerry and the show's manager, Mr. Randall, as the circus travels. Jerry hears Mr. Randall explain why he let Kelly keep a sick cat, which the manager says the circus needs. Belco, a strongman, drags a wagon around the ring and then hangs from a rope while holding a trunk with his teeth, and Jerry suggests he could pull a wagon carrying lions. A policeman from the Allendale force then arrives with a note for Mr. Randall, who asks for a report and says he will see Jim Bennett. Mr. Randall tells Jerry that counterfeit money was passed in Evansville the day before, and Jerry is sent to the ticket wagon. The episode is part of the Jerry of the Circus series and first aired on October 21, 1937.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
