What happens

Jerry and Mr. Bradley talk over a registered government letter containing a $500 reward for turning in Spike, and Bradley offers Jerry his old lucky dragon ring, which Jerry refuses. Major Mink then tells them about Rosa Roxy, the circus fortune teller, whose predictions he credits, and Jerry, Johnny and Bradley visit her tent to have their palms read. Rosa tells Johnny of a coming wedding, a journey and a surprise, and tells Jerry of a dark, thin stranger who will bring him trouble.

A traveling circus, in the morning and then at the fortune teller's tent on the midway.

Characters: Jerry, Mr. Bradley, Major Mink, Johnny, Rosa Roxy

Listen for: Rosa's readings of Johnny's and Jerry's palms, and the reward letter about Spike.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
