What happens
Jerry, a young circus worker, is brushing the horse Splendor when the animal breaks loose and runs into the ring during the parade. Jerry sees the horse following the other animals toward a herd of elephants and runs in after him. The crowd takes his daring rescue for part of the show. Afterward, Jerry worries about being reported to Mr. Randall for disobeying orders. This is part of the Jerry of the Circus radio series, first broadcast on September 2, 1937.
A circus lot and big top, including the horse tents, the back door of the ring, and the arena during the parade.

Listen for: Jerry dashes into the ring to rescue Splendor from the elephants, and the audience cheers, believing it part of the act.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
