What happens
Jerry of the Circus follows young Jerry as he works with the circus horses. Jerry helps Whitey break in Splendor, a young horse, first getting him used to a saddle and then a bridle. The horse bolts and bucks, but Whitey praises Jerry for his help. Later, Carlos Bandini sets up a tight wire for Jerry to practice walking. Jerry struggles with the swaying wire, and Carlos promises him an ice cream soda if he reaches the other side. Carmen Bandini steps in to offer advice. The episode, aired August 25, 1937, is part of the Jerry of the Circus series.
A circus winter quarters with horse tents, a wagon, and an open practice area.
Characters: Jerry, Whitey, Splendor, Carlos Bandini, Carmen Bandini
Listen for: Whitey's careful instructions as Splendor is saddled and bridled, and Carmen's advice to Jerry about the wire.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
