What happens
Jerry, a young circus boy, and his dog Rags set a camera trap in the wardrobe tent to catch the prowler who has been disturbing Clara's tent. Jack Hastings develops the photograph overnight, and the next morning Jerry brings the picture to Mr. Randall. It shows the chimpanzee Aga at Clara's supply cabinet, and Randall is puzzled about who has been letting her out at night. Clara finds her gold thimble and jewelry returned to her workbench. Major Mike then storms in, accusing Clara of stealing his watch, a gift from the King of Romania, and Randall calmly sets out to get to the bottom of it. The series is Jerry of the Circus, first broadcast on July 21, 1937.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
