What happens
Jerry of the Circus opens with the circus manager Mr. Randall announcing that the payroll money has been stolen and that the workers will not be paid that day. Randall questions Jason, a performer, after a revolver that Jason had reported lost is found near the scene, and Jason, who was alone on a walk at the time, is placed under watch. Jerry, the young performer, takes an interest in clearing Jason's name. Later, Jerry and his dog Rags sit on the train's back platform at night, where they notice movement around the big top. The episode ends as Jerry and Jason set out to see what is happening.
