What happens
Jack Benny hosts a broadcast on the day California switches to daylight saving time, and the show is shaped by the change of hour. Dennis Day sings McNamara's Band for St. Patrick's Day, and Mary Livingstone reads a letter from her mother that mentions Jack being a walking man. Ralph Edwards arrives to present Mrs. Florence Hubbard of Chicago, the winner of the walking man contest, and she is interviewed on the air. Jack Benny's program was broadcast on NBC in March 1948 and stars Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
