What happens

Jack Benny spends Thanksgiving with Mary Livingston and their gang at Mary's house. Rochester gets Jack dressed for the party, and a trip to the florist for flowers is delayed. Phil Harris's band arrives and crowds the living room, while Mary struggles with the cooking and a new maid. Larry Stevens sings, and Jack carves the turkey. A heated argument breaks out between Jack and Don Wilson over which naval hero said don't give up the ship. The Jack Benny program aired on NBC in 1944, and its cast includes Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
