What happens
Jack Benny, Don Wilson and Dennis Day go to the drive-in on a Saturday night after Benny is left out of his neighbour Ronald Colman's party. Benny starts the evening playing cards with his valet Rochester, who is then sent off for the night, leaving Benny alone until Dennis drops in. Wilson joins them and suggests a film at the Palisades Drive-in, featuring the English film Murder in Piccadilly. The three set off in Benny's car, but the outing quickly runs into trouble with the parking, the ticket booth and the noisy families around them. This 1954 episode of The Jack Benny Program stars Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Listen for: The parking trouble at the drive-in and the crying baby in the car next to Benny's
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
