What happens
Jack Benny, in San Francisco for a personal appearance at the Kern Theatre, relaxes in his dressing room with his valet Rochester, Mary Livingstone and Bob Crosby. Benny soon has a visit from his old vaudeville partner Fred Allen, who is in town on business and mentions a new film. The two men reminisce about their early years performing together, recalling a trip to see agent Mickey Rockford in New York. The Jack Benny Program aired on NBC and CBS Radio, and the lead actors include Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris. This is a 1953 episode of the series, recorded as an AFRS broadcast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
