What happens
Jack Benny broadcasts from the Marine Corps Air Station at El Toro, California, and banters with Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Dennis Day, Rochester and Don Wilson. Jack jokes about Marine pilots and a flight Mary took, and Phil claims a trip into town was delayed by wind. Jack then reveals that Alexis Smith, a Warner Brothers star, is his leading lady in an upcoming picture and brings her onto the broadcast. The cast recreates a scene from The Constant Nymph, with Jack playing the part opposite Alexis, while the others tease and interrupt the rehearsal. The program is a comedy sketch in the style of its series, with the characters on a stage set at the base.

Listen for: Jack's introduction of Alexis Smith as his leading lady and the rehearsal of the Constant Nymph scene
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
