What happens

On Halloween night in Beverly Hills, Jack Benny roams the neighborhood with a group of trick-or-treating children from the Beavers Club, who regard him as their club treasurer and a former Olympic champion. Their rounds take them to Mary Livingston's house, where Benny stops to rest and talks with her about his role among the kids. The Jack Benny program, sponsored by Lucky Strike, aired on NBC and CBS Radio on November 2, 1952, with Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris in the cast. The evening moves on to visits with Dennis Day's mother, a stop at the Kettles' home, and a meeting with Bob Crosby and his wife, June. The episode is an everyday comedy about a Halloween outing with the children.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
