What happens

Jack Benny and Mary Livingstone stroll down Wilshire Boulevard on Easter Sunday, dressed for the parade. Jack insists on wearing a white suit despite Mary's objections, and the couple runs into a string of acquaintances along the way. Their walk includes a stop for cigarettes at a drugstore, a visit with a photographer, and a stretch of singing on the sidewalk. Rochester waits at home, and the pair keep moving toward La Brea. This is an episode of The Jack Benny Program, broadcast in 1954 on NBC and CBS Radio, with Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris in the lead roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
