His valet Rochester sneaks a cigar from Benny's box, while Benny's maid Butterfly readies the food and drinks. Mary Livingstone arrives first, followed by Phil Harris and his band, Don Wilson, writers, and eventually Andy and Mr. Billingsley. The party becomes lively with songs and games, and Jack's violin playing causes a commotion. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
