What happens
Claudia Dale picks up a strange hitchhiker on a dark road after midnight, and he tells her things about her life that no stranger should know. When she reaches home, she finds her husband Howard Dale dead beside the piano, just as the stranger foretold. Detective Sergeant Quinn of homicide questions her, and she insists the hitchhiker, a man named Garth Dragman, is the killer. The Inner Sanctum Mysteries series, starring Wendy Barry, presents this broadcast from the period of its 1945 run.
