What happens
Sebastian Packer, a clockmaker in London, has spent thirty years hunting for a black marble clock known as the Judas clock and the man he blames for his father's death. Now, in New York, he is repairing that clock for the Arnold household. Packer recalls the night his father was crushed by the falling clock after a quarrel between two men in the shop, and how the thirty silver coins hidden inside the clock seemed to carry a curse. Several people who handle the clock or its coins die suddenly. Barry Kroger plays Sebastian Packer in this Inner Sanctum Mystery.
London and later New York City, in a clockmaker's shop and a household, with flashbacks to a Limehouse curio shop and a coin dealer's window

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
