What happens
Lieutenant Otto Frane, a homicide detective, and Barry Adams are collaborating with writer Loretta Medford on a radio series at her summer cottage on the north shore. One night Loretta is apparently stabbed and thrown from the dock, and Barry and Otto are left arguing over who was on the dock. Loretta's fiancé Barry is accused, and his intended wife Carolyn Medford arrives on the midnight train to find the household in chaos. Carolyn is left to face shocking events and to decide whom she can trust.
A summer cottage on the north shore, about five miles from town, in June
Characters: Barry Adams, Otto Frane, Loretta Medford, Carolyn Medford, Mrs. Finch
Listen for: Carolyn's account of the strange events after she arrives at the cottage at midnight
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
